Ways to Volunteer with Grand Teton Association

Part-time seasonal Volunteers

Be a volunteer docent at historic Menor’s Ferry!

Pairs of volunteers are needed to serve as docents at historic Menor’s Ferry located just outside of Moose in Grand Teton National Park.  As volunteers for Grand Teton Association, docents run the GTA retail outlet – a “general store” that carries a small assortment of food and gift items.  Docents are also asked to become familiar with the history of Menor’s Ferry and to share this information with visitors to the site.  Menor’s Ferry is open to the public 10 am to 4:30 pm.

Docents work a 3-day schedule in exchange for a FREE campsite at the Gros Ventre campground.  Other perks include:  a complimentary one year Grand Teton Association membership; a 40% discount on merchandise purchased at any GTA store; a free Grand Teton/Yellowstone National Park pass.
