Artists, Writers and Photographers in the Environment

Once a month thoughout the summer we invite a local author, a local artist, and a local photographer to share their knowledge with the public. Come watch and learn from a professional artist or join a writer’s workshop hosted by a talented local author.

Free! And open to the public. No sign up necessary.

June 11th-Alison Brush, abstract acrylic and graphite, 9AM-12PM at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose.
July 9th- Plein Air for the Park Artists, oil painting and pastels at String Lake, 9AM-12PM 
August 13th- Jesse Ryan & Ryan Hittner from the New Thought Digital Agency, time-lapse workshop, 10AM-12PM at Schwabacher’s Landing
September 10th- Teton Plein Air Painting Group demonstration at Menor’s Ferry Historic District, 9AM-12PM

All the writing programs meet at the Flagpole outside the Moose Visitor Center
June 11th - Poetry with Susan Scarlata and Jessica Baran, meet at DVC flagpole, 9AM-12PM
July 9th Tina Welling, writing about nature and the body, meet at DVC flagpole, 9AM-12PM
August 13th- George Vlastos, prose and poetry multi-genre workshop, meet at DVC flagpole, 9AM-12PM
September 10th- Connie Wieneke, writing and meditation workshop, meet at DVC flagpole, 9AM-12PM

June 11th - Roger Hayden, wildlife and landscape photography workshop at Willow Flats Overlook, 10AM
July 9th- Tenley Thompson, wildlife and landscape photography workshop at Oxbow Bend, 5:30PM
August 13th- Taylor Glen, evening landscape photography workshop at String Lake, 6PM-8PM
September 10th- Henry Holdsworth, sunrise and landscape photography workshop at Schwabacher’s Landing, 7AM
