| 12 Outstanding Native American Indian Artifact Postcards
Since 1972, the David T. Vernon Collection of Native American Indian Art has been housed at the Colter Bay Indian Arts Museum in Grand Teton National Park. Mr. Vernon's lifelong fascination with Native American Indian objects began in his Illinois boyhood when he found Sac and Fox stone projectile points at the site of an old battleground. The collections was purchased by the Jackson Hole Preserve, Inc. a foundation backed by John D. Rockefeller and donated to Grand Teton National Park. Mr. Vernon died in 1973.
