Thank you for your interest in employment with Grand Teton Association! Our public lands are a great place work seasonally and contribute to in a special way by working for a cooperating association. The following is an overview of hiring process for seasonal employment with GTA.
GTA has several summer positions and a few winter positions. The hiring process for summer begins in early January. After we know which employees are returning from the year prior we fill-in the remaining positions with new hires. In years past, GTA has had a strong return rate.
Applications are accepted all year long. However, it is best to send/email them in mid-December. Interviews will begin in January for the upcoming summer. The seasonal hiring us usually complete by March.
The available housing is limited and GTA doesn’t have enough housing to provide each employee with space. RV sites are available along with rooms in shared housing situations. We do charge for housing and the rate is the same as the NPS sets for their housing. Most of our housing is provided by the NPS because of our unique partnership.

Most of our positions are physically demanding. All of our stores are fast paced and high volume which requires that you are on your feet for 8 hour a day. There is lifting involved in every position along with climbing on ladders. Please keep the requirements in mind when you apply.
